Description of Works
An architect-designed residential development of 12 homes built for Lincolnshire Rural Housing Association consisting of several sustainable measures, including:
- Communal biomass boiler to provide all of the homes’ space heating requirements
- Solar thermal panel to provide most of the water heating with back up from the biomass boiler if required
- Buildings are made from a Structurally Insulated Panel System which is responsibly sourced
- A sustainable Urban Drainage System has been employed to deal with all of the surface water run-off requirements
- All homes meet all 16 of the Lifetime Homes requirements
